Delete Directly Through the App
The fastest way to permanently close your account is directly within your BidYatra mobile app:
- Open the BidYatra app and log in using your . verified mobile number and OTP.
- Tap right on your Profile Icon at the top right corner.
- Scroll down and select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion pop-up to initiate automated profile removal.
Request Deletion via Support Email
If you no longer have access to the app, you can send a formal data removal request directly to our compliance team:
Identity Verification Process
To prevent unauthorized account tampering or fraudulent requests, our security system requires identity verification:
- Requests must originate from the registered mobile number linked to your profile.
Data Retention Notice & Legal Obligations
Upon request confirmation, your personal profile, active sessions, and personal details will be permanently removed. However, specific financial transaction logs, tax invoices, and legal compliance records may be retained for the legally mandated period as required under applicable Indian statutory laws and anti-fraud regulations.
